Botox for Medical Conditions
BOTOX® is the only one, of the 3 Neurotoxins,
that can be used to temporarily treat certain medical conditions.
Chronic Migraine
Research has shown that BOTOX® prevents, on average, 8 to 9 migraine days a month when compared to 6 to 7 migraine days with a placebo. BOTOX® can be used for those who suffer from 15 or more migraine days a month, each lasting 4 or more hours.

TMJ Pain or
Teeth Clenching
Teeth clenching and grinding, whether awake or not, can lead to severe dental problems in addition to causing a boat load of issues such as jaw pain, TMJ pain, headaches, earaches, facial pain and migraines.
This pain results from the excessive, repeated use of the jaw muscles. Many treatments out there, including
anti-inflammatory medication and dental appliances treat the symptoms but not the cause. BOTOX® can be used to address the source of the problem by helping to relax those muscles, in turn reducing or stopping the teeth clenching and/or grinding and reducing pain.
Sweating BOTOX®
can be used to temporarily treat severe under arm, hand and feet sweating. BOTOX® can be injected into the skin of the affected area(s) in those who have failed topical treatment. Research has shown that BOTOX® has provided individuals with relief for up to 6 months at a time.
